You have to understand that you need to make yourself valuable in front of the prospective employer in order to achieve that the best combination that can in most of the cases will ensure that you get a guaranteed job is combination of SIA door supervisor, CCTV and emergency first aid at work qualifications. Let’s take the example of a major supermarket, you see a security officer standing there, he obviously needs a door supervision and not security guarding licence because most of the supermarkets are licensed premises. Sometimes that security operative comes and stands behind a CCTV booth, in order for him to do that he requires a CCTV qualification and relevant licence. Obviously if you are an employee of a security company they will send a person who has multiple qualifications, this will ensure that they can save resources both in terms of manpower which will ensure financial savings.
